This little 13 tree group stems back to my early days of
Bonsai when I was keen to get my hands on any tree possible.
The result being a garden full of seedlings which I was forever tripping
over.
The answer to this was to combine all my Maple seedlings on a slab. It was
assembled in February 1996 and I didn't even know what variety they were!

Wonderful autumn colour made all the better because of
the mixed varieties.

Two of the trees on the right of the group died
during the winter due to lack of soil protecting the roots.
Repotted into a shallow pot in February and the dead
trees replaced.
